CENTRAL TEXAS BIBLE TEACHERS WORKSHOP CELEBRATES 7TH YEAR WITH “CROSS TRAINING” TOPIC
Austin Graduate School of Theology and
Austin area Churches of Christ are again cooperating to “equip Bible
teachers with exciting tools and resources to serve the church family.”
The Central Texas Bible Teachers Workshop includes classes for teachers of
all ages as well as special topic classes. The two-day event welcomes approximately
250 Bible class teachers and church leaders from all over Texas and several
other states. Jim Nicks, Elder at the Leander Church of Christ in Leander,
Texas said, “There are always several useful and beneficial classes for
me and our teachers who attend. All agree it helps us become better teachers.”
The keynote speaker is Bill Rasco, Family Involvement Minister at the Church
of Christ in Champions, Texas. Bill is an author and publishes curriculum through
21st Century Christian Publishing Company.
This year’s Workshop will be held July 18 & 19 at the Cameron Rd.
Church of Christ in Austin, TX. Early registration is $20 and includes lunch
on Saturday. After July 10, registration is $25 and does not include lunch.

The Central Texas Bible Teachers Workshop began in 2002 with the vision to provide a training opportunity for Bible Class teachers in the Central Texas region. God has opened our eyes to a bigger vision and we are now reaching teachers throughout the state of Texas and into our neighboring states.
Several area Churches of Christ are represented on the planning team as well as representatives from the Austin Graduate School of Theology, who has been an enthusiastic supporter of the Workshop since its inception. We offer classes for teachers of children, youth, women, and men.
