Admission Requirements – Master of Arts in Theological Studies (On-Campus)

Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution is required
Official transcripts for all credits previously attempted, sent directly to Austin Grad from the institution(s)
Three letters of reference (including one from a professor and one from a minister or leader of the congregation where the applicant is actively involved)

$25 Application fee ONLY if submitting a paper application
Submit a five paragraph, typed essay explaining your ministry goals, how Austin Grad can help you meet those goals, and why you have decided to pursue a Master’s degree. Be sure your essay includes an introduction, supporting body paragraphs, and a conclusion.
A cumulative GPA of 2.5 in one’s bachelor’s degree is required for admission into the Master of Arts. Students with a cumulative GPA lower than 2.5 may be considered for provisional admission.
Students for whom English is a second language must document a paper-based test score (PBT) of 550 or an internet-based test score (iBT) of 80 or higher on the TOEFL.
