Admission Requirements – Master of Arts in Theological Studies (On-Campus)

Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution is required.
Official transcripts for all credits previously attempted, sent directly to Austin Grad from the institution(s).
Three letters of reference (including one from a professor and one from a minister or leader of the congregation where the applicant is actively involved).

One-page typed essay stating the applicant’s goals in ministry and reasons for pursuing the Master of Arts.
A cumulative GPA of 2.5 in one’s bachelor’s degree is required for admission into the Master of Arts. Students with a cumulative GPA lower than 2.5 may be considered for provisional admission.
If you are under 30 years of age, you must show evidence that you have received the Bacterial Meningitis vaccination (student must have received vaccination at least 10 days prior to the semester he or she is enrolled). Attendance will be denied if documentation is not received 10 days prior to start of class. Contact the Director of Admissions for more information.
Students for whom English is a second language must document a paper-based test score (PBT) of 550 or an internet-based test score (iBT) of 80 or higher on the TOEFL.
